What is the traditional processing process of steel back?

2022-10-25

 An ordinary steel back generally needs the following stamping processing technology: shearing, blanking, flanging, punching, printing, punching, single fine blanking.

The subsequent processes are mainly degreasing and polishing, phosphating, leveling, sheet inspection, packaging and shipment. I will focus on the stamping process, after our steel plate is transported back from the steel mill (it is coil), we need to cut the coil into blocks (1520*6000mm), and then cut it into steel slats about 6mm larger than the actual steel back according to the size of the steel back;

Then blanking (160~200T punching press), that is, we often say embryo making, after making the hair embryo, and then go to the beveled edge (200~500T hydraulic press).

Because the steel back is pressed into a friction block, after being assembled on the brake disc, due to the needs and beauty of the assembly, it is necessary to have an integral beveled edge, because it is easy to cause local expansion in the process of pressing the beveled edge, and the product with high quality requirements also needs to add a pressure plane process (200~500T hydraulic press).

Then is punching (80T punching machine), after punching, take the hole as the positioning, print the customer name, style number and other information (80T punch), and then go to the punching nail (80T punch).

Punching nails are products that need to rivet other parts such as silencers, sensors, connectors, etc. after they are made. After punching the nail is the fine blanking process, the fine blanking process here belongs to the fine blanking of the single punch die, in order to avoid confusion, here I will temporarily use the term "single fine blanking" instead.
